How to Apply to HCSSiM
Have no fear! Applying to the Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics is free, fun, obligationless, and doable online.Just follow these simple steps:
(1) Do not pay any money.
(2) Enter some information about your addresses, school, background, and interests, along with a friendly letter, into the online application form; then, submit it. Within a week or so you should receive an e-mail confirming we recieved your applicaiton.
(3) Download, print out, and take the Interesting Test (this is the fun part of the application, and only takes a few hours). The 2010 Interesting Test will be emailed to applicants beginning in March, as an attached .pdf file. In the meantime, feel free to enjoy past Interesting Test problems.
(4) Mail the Interesting Test back to the address below:

(5) Give the Sponsor Recommendation Form to your sponsor (this form will be sent to you after your online application form is received) and ask that your sponsor send us comments via snail mail, email, or phone.
Most applicants will receive decisions approximately 17 days after their applications have been completed.
