Prime Time Theorem
The PTT is HCSSiM’s daily lecture on a special topic — a cool theorem, a clever technique, an unexpected application, etc. Some Prime Time Theorems are given by HCSSiM faculty, but several days a week we bring in visiting speakers from all around the world of mathematics. Here are some samples from the last few years.

Come Give a PTT!
We’re always on the lookout for fresh faces and new ideas. If you’d like to come by some summer and give a 51-minute talk on some math you love, get in touch and we can work out the details together. We seek to expose students to a diverse set of mathematical role models — folks of all genders, races, ages, and fields — so please tell us a little about yourself and your history if you think it’s relevant.
If you’ve been thinking about applying to teach at HCSSiM but worry that we might be too silly or too knowledgeable about certain small primes, giving a Prime Time is a great way to get to know us. Plus, if you stay for dinner, you can get a sample of what you’d be eating all summer long!*
